The Ukrainian military released a video claiming to have completed the world's first mission to use drones to evacuate wounded soldiers from the front line. The 92nd Assault Brigade of Ukraine stated that because the area where the injured soldier was trapped is surrounded by landmines and Russian drones are active frequently, ground rescue is impossible. The military pointed out that the mission was carried out by a heavy-duty six-rotor drone controlled remotely, and it successfully maintained flight stability during this "extremely difficult" operation. The Ukrainian military said the wounded soldiers were eventually successfully evacuated from the front line and described the drone evacuation operation as the first of its kind in the world.
